Our biggest ever donation from a single event

The British Gas Smart Metering and Installations team walked from Winchester to Eastbourne to raise money for Jane Scarth House.  The idea for the walk came from Rich Bailey, whose late sister Laura Andrews was supported by the Centre.  The team walked 102 miles over 5 days (camping along the way!) and so far have raised a staggering £11,300, our biggest-ever donation from a single event.

You can read more about it at https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/cancertakeahike2018.

Our thanks go to everyone who was involved: The core walkers: Rich Bailey, James Finn, Richard Lake, Justin Phillips, Tony Pepper, Richard Bailey, Stuart Paul, Joe Fuller, Steve King, Darrell Williams and also 8 day walkers whose names we don’t have. The support team: Pete Macnab and Dave Kingdon, along with Richard Smith, Sue Winchester, Chris Middleton, Clive Rubinstein, June Bevis, Paul Tuckey, Dave Foxley and Kris Kayne.
